72 Hours in Las Vegas: Three Days of Food, Fun, and Unforgettable Experiences

Three days. One city. A whole lot of memories.

Las Vegas is one of those destinations that always has something happening. From the bright lights and endless entertainment to incredible restaurants and attractions, there's never a dull moment.

This time around, I had just 72 hours to experience Vegas, and trust me, we packed as much as possible into those three days.

Was it hot? Extremely. Was it chaotic? A little. Was it worth it? Absolutely!

Here's a look at how I spent 72 hours in Las Vegas, where I stayed, what I ate, and some of my favourite experiences along the way.

Where I Stayed: Harrah's Las Vegas

One thing I love when travelling is staying somewhere central, especially when I have limited time to explore.

For this trip, we stayed at Harrah's Las Vegas, located right on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The location made it convenient to get out, explore, and experience some of the city's attractions without spending too much time travelling between places.

And when you only have three days in Vegas, convenience matters!

Exploring the Las Vegas Strip

You can't visit Las Vegas without spending some time exploring the Strip.

Between the massive hotels, colourful displays, restaurants, entertainment, and people from all over the world, there's so much to take in.

We spent time sightseeing, checking out some iconic attractions, and enjoying the atmosphere.

One thing about Vegas? There's always something to look at.

And let me tell you, that Vegas heat is no joke! Comfortable shoes, water, and a little patience are absolutely necessary when exploring.

Swimming Mermaids at Silverton Casino

One of the more unique attractions we checked out was the mermaid experience at Silverton Casino.

Yes, actual performers dressed as mermaids swimming inside a massive aquarium!

It's definitely not something you see every day, and it was a fun experience to add to our itinerary.

If you're looking for something different to do in Vegas beyond the casinos and nightlife, this is one attraction worth checking out.

Dinner at Pinky's by Vanderpump

Of course, food had to be part of the adventure.

We stopped by Pinky's by Vanderpump, a stylish restaurant and cocktail lounge with a glamorous atmosphere.

Vegas has no shortage of dining options, and I love discovering restaurants that offer more than just a meal. The atmosphere and overall experience are part of the fun.

Pinky's was one of our dining stops during the trip, and it definitely added a little extra glam to our Vegas experience.

A Little Italian Escape at The Venetian

Another place we explored was The Venetian Resort.

The architecture, indoor canals, and Italian-inspired surroundings make it one of the most visually interesting hotels on the Strip.

You almost forget you're in the middle of Las Vegas.

We spent some time walking around, taking everything in, and, of course, capturing content.

Because what's a trip without a little camera time?

Dinner at Nomikai

Our food adventures continued with dinner at Nomikai.

One thing I always try to do when visiting a new destination is experience different restaurants. Food is such a big part of travelling for me, and I enjoy incorporating those moments into my travel memories.

Between sightseeing, exploring, and eating, our days were definitely full.

The Highlight: Seeing the Backstreet Boys Live!

Now, this was easily one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip.

THE BACKSTREET BOYS! LIVE IN LAS VEGAS!

There is something special about seeing artists whose music you've known for years perform right in front of you.

The nostalgia, the music, the excitement, and the overall concert atmosphere made this such a memorable experience.

We also got to experience a little Backstreet Boys-themed excitement with BSB Air.

Seeing the group live was definitely one of those moments that made the trip extra special.

And yes, I was singing along!

Brunch at Chéri Rooftop

After all the excitement, a little brunch was definitely needed.

We visited Chéri Rooftop, which was another lovely addition to our Vegas itinerary.

I enjoy finding places where you can sit down, have a meal, and appreciate your surroundings.

Brunch is always a good idea, especially when you're on vacation!

A Gondola Ride at The Venetian

This was another experience I was excited to check off the list.

We returned to The Venetian for a gondola ride through its famous canals.

It's one of those classic Las Vegas activities that gives you a little taste of Venice without actually travelling to Italy.

Between the scenery, the gondola, and the atmosphere, it was a fun way to experience something different during our trip.

Would I recommend adding it to your Vegas itinerary? Definitely, especially if it's your first visit. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Another memorable stop was the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.

If you enjoy beautiful displays, flowers, and creative installations, this is a spot you should consider visiting.

The Conservatory is known for its elaborate seasonal displays, and it's a lovely place to slow down and appreciate the details.

It's also a great stop for photos and videos.

Was 72 Hours Enough for Las Vegas?

The short answer? Yes and no.

Yes, because we managed to squeeze in a lot of activities, explore several attractions, enjoy good food, and attend an incredible concert.

But also no, because Las Vegas has so much more to offer.

Three days is enough to get a taste of the city, especially if you plan your itinerary well, but there's definitely room for another visit.

My biggest advice would be to plan the attractions you really want to experience, stay somewhere convenient, and leave a little room for spontaneous adventures.

Also, don't underestimate the heat or how much walking you'll end up doing!

My Final Thoughts on Las Vegas

This trip reminded me why I love travelling so much.

It's not always about how long you spend somewhere. Sometimes it's about how much you experience while you're there.

In just 72 hours, we created memories, explored new places, enjoyed some great experiences, and got to see one of my favourite throwback groups perform live.

Vegas was hot, busy, exciting, and a little chaotic, but that's exactly what made it memorable.

Would I visit again? Absolutely.

And next time, maybe I'll give myself a few extra days!
