I recently had the opportunity to visit @oakwineandcocktail for the first time to try out their new lunch menu and my experience was incredible. For your own good, if you work anywhere near Oak Wine Bar and Cocktail, grab a plate of their curried goat. Words can’t do the food justice. You can choose to dine in or bring your lunch back to the office.

In this day and age, it’s easy to get stuck into the work cycle. The rat race draws us in, and at some point, we’re not working to live — we’re living to work. Our relationships with our partner, friends, or children get damaged, and we become a husk of our former selves.

I just turned 30 years old a couple of days ago and let me just say at first I didn't take it so well. All my life I've been making plans, creating goals & working towards them so that by 30 I would be able to look back and say I've done a good job.   A month prior to my birthday I started to evaluate my life and realized half the things I said I would have done before 30 was not done and as you can imagine, it had me in a funk. I felt like I had been wasting time, time that I would never get back. Can you relate?   

If you're looking for something fun to do on a Sunday, can I recommend visiting one of Kingston Creative’s Art Walk? I recently went with the Love Not Likes crew and was pleasantly surprised. Starting at 11:00am and extending throughout the day, this free monthly art event features art in various formats from murals to art galleries, music, dance, food, vendors and more. All this goes down every last sunday at F&B Downtown, 107 Harbour Street.

Social media is such a powerful tool, you know it, I know it. Instagram is one of my favourite social media platforms because it allows me to connect and find people who share similar interests, people who are in the same field as I am. It's also the platform that introduced me to Love Not Likes, A curated experience for photographers, bloggers and micro-influencers who want to collab. So when I saw that the Love Not Likes Group was about to have their very first Meetup for bloggers and influencers I knew I had to be a part of it. Something about connecting with like-minded people, being able to share experiences and stories, while travelling to one of the most beautiful parishes in Jamaica had me so excited that I sent in my RSVP almost immediately.
