Entrepreneur Highlight: Meet Peta-Gay
1. Tell us more about yourself.
As you may know my name is Peta-gay Malcolm-Parker. I am a hardworking, self motivated entrepreneur. I am currently working for an Optometrist after quitting my job as a hotel manager for two years. I believe that the very purpose of my life is to be happy and have fulfillment and that job wasn't allowing me to fulfill my potential.
I always knew i wanted to be an entrepreneur but i wasn't exactly sure in what area. Whenever I get the question about what I wanted to be in life, my response is always to be my own boss and to be extremely happy. I am not yet my own boss , but i'm working on it and I enjoying the journey.
2.How did you get into your skill?
I think my skills came naturally, I always like to dress people up and do their make up. I believe people feels great whenever they're looking glamorous. From a very young age I have always been the one to pick out my families and friends outfits, style their hair and accessorize their outfits and doing so have always brought me joy. I can clearly remember my sister calling me " Ms Fandagles" even as a little girl because i always had so many jewelry accessories. My love for accessories and getting people glammed lead me to start my business Glammed Pretty LLC.
3. How do you promote yourself?
I promote my business every chance I get. When i'm at work or out partying, I always have my business cards ready to hand out. I also do a lot of promotions on social medias such as Instagram and Facebook.

5.Do you have any upcoming projects?
I have a few "pop up shop" coming in the spring and summer time, the dates have not been finalized as yet.
6. What is your philosophy in life?
I believe the reason we are here is to see how much of our potential we can turn into skills, which we can then use to create a better world.
7.In your opinion what do you think are the keys to success?
In my opinion the key to success is having a dream, working towards that dream, and being determined never give up no matter how hard it gets.
8. What made you start you business?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to own and operate a successful business, so it was just for me to find what i'm passionate about and work towards it.

I really don't follow a lot of blogs, except for Sue blogs. I do follow a few websites such as entrepreneurs.com, Forbes.com and Shopify digest. I follow those websites because they have useful information on how to operate a successful business.
